Continuation Bill 

 

Allows you to close a monthly contract and reopen a new contract for billing purposes.  You will be asked to enter the close date.  This is the date the contract will be closed and the new contract will be opened.  All items will be opened for a one-month period.  If you have already Continuation Billed this contract, then this selection will be dim and not accessible.  If the selection is dim, you need to select the latest contract to re-bill (i.e. contract 123456A instead of contract 123456).

Enter the Close Date

 

Once you choose to bill for the month, the status will changed to red and show returned. Go through the contract as normal.

 

 

Once the original contract has been closed. A continued contract will open with the next corresponding letter added at the end of the contract number. Also, the due date will reflect 28 days from the last due date, due to a 28 day billing cycle.

        * Note: If there is a deposit it will continue to move to continued contracts, until the contract will no longer be continued. On the final contract you can either apply the deposit to the rental/sale or refund the deposit back to the customer.
