Missed Rentals

 

 

Overview: Allows you to enter a reason for not being able to fulfill customer request for an inventory item. You will be able to enter a missed rental from either the Counter System or through Item Availability. 

 

Go to Counter System>Missed Rental

Item Lookup – Allows you to select items from inventory selection to look up. Once item is selected it will show in the Item Name.

Item Name – Allows you to enter the inventory name that you do not have in stock.

Customer – Clicking on the blue customer name will put you in the customer selection screen, where you can select the customer requesting the missed inventory.

Phone in/Walk in – Allows you to check how the customer asked about renting the inventory item.

Quantity Desired – Allows you to enter how many of the missed rental the customer is asking for.

Approximate Rental Amt - - The amount of the missed rental.

Reason – Allows you to enter a reason on why the inventory is not in stock.

Note – Add any extra notes or comments about missed rental.

 

*Note – You can create a system notification to notify a sales rep or customer service person immediately, allowing you to either substitute or subrent the item

 

 

Missed Rental Report

 

This report lists all the items that you missed a rental on.  It is sorted by item name.  The information from this report comes from the Missed Rental input.  If the counter personnel don’t enter items as they are missed, then nothing will print.  You will be asked to enter a beginning date and an ending date for the report.

Missed Rental History

 

This report will show you the inventory item that your missed the rental on. It will display the item, reason, qty and Approx. Amt.
