Inventory Selection

 

Overview: Allows you to search inventory items based on specified criteria.

Note: The Inventory Selection screen will, by default, sort the column (ascending) that you are searching by (Search will sort the Key column).

 

 

Search                         Will search database for any item containing your search term in the key, name, part number and alias fields.

Item Name                    Will search database for any item that starts with your search term in the name field.

Part Number                Will search database for any item that starts with your search term in the part number field.

Item Number                Will search database for the specific item number.

Item Key                       Will search database for any item that starts with your search term in the key field

Field Search                  Will search database for any item containing your search term in the selected field.

Category Search          Will return all records from the selected category.

Show Items                   Will further refine a search by including or excluding items.

 

 

 

Header Bar

 

The blue header bar allows you to select from a list of options to customize how you view information in the inventory selection screen. Right click on the blue header bar to access additional options.

 

 

Checking the box will add a new column to your inventory selection screen. You can move the items up or down to reposition your columns. Clicking the save button will save the screen setting for you. The next time you access the inventory selection screen using your ID and password, will display the saved settings. Settings can be saved either by a Specific User, Company or Group. Simply select the appropriate setting from the drop-down menu. Check frequently for new update columns added to the list.
