Transfer Delay

You can set up a delay to determine how long after a transfer the item will be available. For Example: You have an item that is being transferred and you want 24 hrs to check out the equipment before you make it available.  In this case you could set up a Transfer delay for 24 hours.   

From the Program>Configurations>System Configuration>Transfer Delay.  

 You can select the store from the dropdown in the upper right corner.  To set the delay double click in the box and set this field in hours.  

You can also check the box “No Transfer”  Which would prevent you from transferring equipment from this store to the selected store.

Now when you transfer the availability of the item being transferred will be pushed out by the hours you have determined.  

    * Note - The duration of the transfer can be defined under the delay column, this will be the default time delay on a transfer contract. You can manually change the Due Back Date of the item to set when the item will be available in the receiving store
