Instructions for rmaking a percentage rate change on the sles Precentage Item:
Modify the original item by adding ‘.old’ to the endo f the key and save.
a. This will prevent the item fro being used moving forward.
Make a copy of th eold recrord and :
a. Remove ‘.oldcopy’ from the key
b. In the Percentage field change the percentage
What will happen next?
1. ACTION REQUIRED: Any reservations or quotes containing the old percentage item should be modified, old percentage items removed, then readded with the new item.
2. Wrinting a new contract will use the new item and charge the new rate automatically.
3. When continuation billing a contract the old item will be maintanied until the item is returned and the contract is closed (this is inline with the requirement noted in the link at the top of this document).
4. Modifying rates on a previously closed contracs will manitain the old percentage rate.
