Any specific item to be passed from Point of Rental to Point of Sale must be mapped. This includes parts, sales items, labor items, fees and delivery charges. To pass a specific item to Epicor, you must enter that item’s Epicor SKU into the Epicor Key field on the Options tab of Point of Rental Item File screen for the item. Fractional quantities will be adjusted to quantity of 1 with the items total price – this is because Epicor interface does not allow fractional quantities.
If the Epicor Key (userdefined1) field is populated, Point of Rental will send a request for current item information to Epicor and will update the item based upon that information (item name, quantity, purchase price, sell price).
