Contract Notifications

Overview: Contract notifications are a method used to automatically send a notification at certain stages of a contracts life. These notifications can be internal among your employees or external to your customers. For email or text notifications your email program must be setup on the terminal generating the notification.

First, click on the Notifications tab from inside the contract processing screen.

Click the 'New Notification' button. The following box will pop up.

The top left pull-down gives you three options to send the message; email, text message, or inter-office email (within the POR program).

If you select email, you can choose one of the customer's email addresses in the 'Select Email' pull-down or type the address in the box below.

If you choose text message you will see a box to enter the cell phone number and another with a pull-down menu where you can select the provider.

Finally, if you choose Inter-Office Email, you will have a pull-down with a list of all your employees.

Then you will have a list of transaction operations with check boxes. If a box is checked, such as Called Off Rent, when you call off a rental, the system will automatically generate a notification.
